Our pollen and mold data comes from the National Allergy Bureau™ (NAB™) and is based on airborne samples collected at NAB-certified monitoring stations throughout Clark County and in Jean, Nevada. NAB-certified professionals at UNLV collect, identify, and count airborne pollen and mold to help track allergen activity across Southern Nevada. Unlike many pollen reports on weather websites and apps that may rely on computer models and forecasts, these counts reflect allergens actually collected and identified in our local air. This provides a direct measurement of local pollen and mold levels rather than simply an estimate of what levels are expected to be.
